Now version 9 has been released and I did not get the upgrade. After some days, support contacted me, namely Amanda, she offered me the upgrade to version 8 and every future version. I left a negative review here on trustpilot. I asked for a refund for the lifetime was misleading. I complained for "free updates" was clear enough. I contacted support and they said that the lifetime version was for version 7 and that I was no eligible for future versions upgrades. A month or two later PDFelement 8 was released and I did not get the update. A year or two ago, I purchased the academic lifetime version of Wodershare PDFelement 7.
